The Executive Team

Alan Brilliant, Principal & Managing Partner

As a managing partner of Four Financial Management, Alan brings 17 years of experience helping clients navigate the financial markets. He spends the majority of his time sharing his vision of how Four Financial Management may help families develop a comprehensive plan to strategically accomplish their life goals.

Alan’s interest in the stock market dates back to his childhood. At a young age, he spent many mornings at the kitchen table with his grandfather helping him look up stock prices in the newspaper. These cherished times created a passion in Alan that ultimately paved the way for his career path. His grandfather also taught him a lesson that Alan still holds dear… “He taught me that making money was good, but also it is only a means to an end. We must do good things with money to make this a better world.”

Alan is active in the local community and serves on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Israel Business Bridge, the Jewish Federation of Greater Ann Arbor and the Jewish Community Foundation.

Alan currently resides in Ann Arbor with his wife, Julie, and their two daughters, Jillian and Riley.  Originally from New Jersey, Alan attended the University of Florida where he earned a BA in Criminology and Sociology.

David Fransko, Principal & Managing Partner

Having started his career in wealth management in 2001, David’s primary responsibility is sharing how Four Financial Management can serve to help families tackle complex financial situations through the use of sophisticated planning and investment management.

David’s interest in the financial markets stems from a very early age. Having won his 4th grade stock picking competition, it became increasingly apparent to him over time that many people — investment professionals included — did not take the necessary time to thoroughly vet investment decisions. He learned from a young age that “doing your homework” can yield excellent results. “I learned early on that a four step process — analyze, plan, execute, critique — is essential to wealth management. We must be proficient in all four steps to be able to deliver comprehensive solutions to our clients.”

David is an active supporter of the local arts community as well as a supporter of various animal rights causes.

David attended the University of Michigan for a BA in Economics and earned an MBA in Finance & Marketing from Wayne State University.  He currently resides in Canton Township with his wife Adele.
